I am a Righteous Man

Theme: Righteousness

Righteousness is a Greek word "Dikaiosune" which means equality with God, justification, been without blame or fault.
Remember all Saints the Greek word "Hagious" are Christians but is not by work of man or by labour. A Christian is not a sinner, we are Saint. (Phil. 10:21).

Your reality is not that body of you but your spirit, remember I told you that a man is made up of three things+

Spirit
Soul and
Body

The presence of God is in spirit, not body, Body is just a case covering the you(your reality, which is your spirit). Everyone become a sinner because we are born of Adam. The Gean inherited from Adam is sin. ROM.5:12. We are made righteous through christ who die for us. If a man could die and sin reign allover, so also a man die and Righteousness is made all over again.

 Chain Of Life

 LAW-------> SIN------> DEATH

The chain of life started when law is given, we now know that this is what they called sin and after the sin is committed Death take place, it's a sorrowful case before God, He decided to sent some to redeem us with his blood none of the angel could go but Jesus said, Here I am, send me.

He came to the world to fulfill the law by breaking it so we won't die in vain but have part in eternal life.

How we Become a Righteousness Being
Rom.3:22:Namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
We became righteous through faith in Jesus christ. Law cannot be fulfilled and cannot make one righteous
Rom. 3:20:Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

21:But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.

We don't have to rely on our work or the good we do, that cannot make us and Can never make us righteous but through faith in christ we are righteous.

Categories Of Righteousness

Righteousness is categories in to two forms which are:

1.Righteousness as a Gift

2.Righteousness is not of work

1. Righteousness as a Gift

Gift is a Greek word "charisma" which means miraculous faculty, not work for, free, Something given to another voluntarily, without charge, Something gained incidentally, without effort.

Rom. 5:17:For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

In these verse we see that righteousness can be obtain only as gift.
If to say we work for it then, God is indebt to us which he has to pay for us without appreciation. For example; let say you are working in a company you render your services to them and at the end of the month you are givenyour salary will you appreciate them?

or the next day you will tell them boss I appreciate you for what you give me yesterday, God will bless you abundantly, even your boss will reply you that it's what you works for and it's your right to receive your salary okay.

Let now say your boss gave you a huge some of money after your salary how will you feel or you work for that? You will be greeting your boss day and night, that is what will called "GIFT".

Through Adam's disobedience, everyone is made a sinner but through Jesus christ's obedience everyone is made righteous till eternity.

ROM.5:19:For just as by one man’s disobedience (failing to hear, heedlessness, and carelessness) the many were constituted sinners, so by one Man’s obedience the many will be constituted righteous (made acceptable to God, brought into right standing with Him).

2. Righteousness is not of work

Rom. 3:20:Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
Gal. 2:16:know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

Don't think that you are righteous through what you are doing, if to say is by work the unbelievers are more better than us. Righteousness is not done by fulfilling the law or doing what is right.

Gal. 3:10:For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”

11:Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”

12:The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”

13:Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”
The main problem Christian is facing is not coming to reality of scripture this gives rooms for doctrine to encapsulate and encase us from the promise of God. Righteousness Is a nature born by christ, God sees no sin in you but he always sees christ in you. Waste no time on praying for your sin. The spirit of God can never leave you because He has said I will never leave you nor forsake you, I will never allow bad things or devil to take over your life.

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2cor5:21). He has took our sin and gave to us His Righteousness. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.(1peter3:18).

Their is no growth to Righteousness, because we are his chosen generation. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.(1peter2:9_10).
